Clamshell Telescopic Arm
A clamshell telescopic arm has been fitted to two excavators in the Zaxis-3 range. The 1.3m³ capacity clamshell bucket on the ZX350-3 variant (0.8m³ on the ZX225USRLC-3) has a digging depth of 25.2m (21.2m).

They are fitted with extendable sections housed inside the outer arm. The extension and retraction device moves quickly to enable fast and smooth telescopic movement. As the machine is compact with long-reach capabilities, it is ideal for foundation works and underground renovations.
