HITACHI CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

There is growing interest across Europe in the stature of the international ConExpo exhibition in Las Vegas. This year’s event scored a record attendance of more than 140,000 visitors – with nearly one in five flying in from 130 overseas countries – and almost 2,200 exhibitors. This is now the largest single trade show of any industry in North America.

Hitachi was represented by its American distributor, which displayed two new Zaxis mid-range excavators – the ZX135US-3 and ZX200W-3 – for the first time, as well as a ZX350LC-3 and ZX850LC-3. Visitors to the stand were also able to view some of the technology that is available to Hitachi customers in the North American market and collect a free baseball cap as an incentive to complete a short questionnaire.
