Hitachi machines have a 12-month period of standard warranty with a maximum of 2,000 to 3,000 operating hours, depending on machine type. During this period HCME fully guarantees Hitachi machines sold through HCME to be free from material and workmanship defects. After these initial 12 months there is an option to further extend the warranty coverage period and operating hours as part of HELP.

Usually our standard warranty term is one year or until the specified service meter reading (whichever comes first). HELP stands for Hitachi Extended Life Program and it offers a number of coverage options for a specific period and number of operating hours. This program extends the term of specified service meter reading beyond the yearly term. When you sign up for the HELP program, you will get the following benefits and services:

 

This program extends the warranty term. Components covered are the same as the standard warranty.

 

This program also extends the warranty term, yet only for the following driveline components:

• Hydraulic cylinders (breakage only, excludes scoring & oil leakage)

• Main pumps

• Swing bearing

• Travel motors

• Swing motors

• Pump transmissions

• Swing devices

• Travel devices

• Main control valves (breakage only, exclude scoring & oil leakage)

• Centre joints (breakage only, exclude scoring & oil leakage)

Any HELP contract (for customers in Europe) comes with an oil analysis service consisting of e.g. a completely automated testing procedure, and internet based reporting system and dedicated back up by machine and ubrication exports.
