For the department Product Support (Technical Support) in Amsterdam we are looking a Product Support Engineer
Goal
Giving high satisfaction to dealers and customers through technical and field support, also judgement and settlement for the warranty claims.
Description of the activities
Support
Providing helpdesk function for dealers handling technical correspondence, supporting or assistance;
Doing field support to dealers;
Giving instructions about new products;
Troubleshooting and corresponding on technical questions or inquiries from dealers and Sales department;
Coordinate modifications.
Warranty
Judgment, registration, analysis and settlement of the warranty claims from the dealers in different territories;
Leading the negotiation between the dealer and the manufacturer.
Training
Giving sales/technical training for current/new models to dealers, users and employees;
Assistance and instruction of the E-service system at the dealers
Others
Technical information feed-back to factory for the future products improvement;
Preparation/Operation of machine demonstration.
Schooling requirements
Completed MTS/ HTS;
At least three years experience in a similar position.
Function requirement
Good knowledge of the Dutch and English language (spoken and written);
Knowledge of detailed technical product specifications;
Communicative and contractual skills;
Commercial skills;
Knowledge of dealers and dealer network;
Knowledge of service manual, parts catalogue and sales brochure;
Knowledge of service- and warranty policy;
Knowledge of ISO procedures and prescriptions;
Experience in providing trainings and demonstrations.
