Technical Support & Training
While having people stationed closer to the market, the core of HCME's Product Support organisation is based in the Training and Demonstration Centre (TDC) in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A team of qualified and experienced engineers supports distributors and customers with any technical query on Hitachi products.
In order to have the maximum of knowledge and experience available, our engineers specialise in one or more of the following product groups; small and medium size crawler excavators, wheeled excavators, large size excavators, mini excavators, wheel loaders, mining and construction dump trucks, crawler carriers and cranes. The Product Support department has fully equipped workshop facilities in the TDC and is in daily contact with Hitachi Quality Assurance and Engineering departments in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Tsuchiura (Japan), Oosterhout (The Netherlands), Tiera (Japan), Genas (France) and Guelph (Canada). If necessary our engineers can also provide personal assistance on-site at distributor, as well as customer job locations.
HCME considers Hitachi distributors to be the ambassadors of the Hitachi brand. For that reason the level of HCME's service technicians meets the highest standard in the industry. Each year the HCME Product Support department devotes a considerable amount of time to setting up training schedules and arranging and conducting training courses in order to keep the knowledge and expertise of service technicians of our distributors up to date.
HCME's commitment to training is probably best displayed at the Training and Demonstration Centre (TDC). The facility consists of 4 class rooms with state of the art audio and video equipment, a demonstration area where machines can be operated, fully equipped workshop facilities and a dedicated training room for electrical systems.
Next to Technical Support, the Product Support organisation also handles Service Development. Service Development is responsible for a number of miscellaneous tasks to overall improve Product Support performance and the maintenance of HCME's After Sales service network.
