HITACHI CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME), the established market leader of hydraulic excavators in Russia, is participating in the 10th CTT/Сonstruction Equipment and Technologies 2009 exhibition. The event will be held from 2 to 6 June at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow.

HCME will be supported at the exhibition by the official Hitachi dealer of ten years in Russia, Techstroicontract. Visitors to the 700m² Hitachi stand in area B1 will be able talk to HCME staff, HCM product specialists and senior management from Techstroicontract, who will explain the benefits of the nine different Hitachi models on display.

Russian customers have relied upon Hitachi excavators for several years. Recently, in addition to the consistently high demand for medium Zaxis 20 to 40-tonne excavators, the popularity of mining and mini excavators has also increased. According to independent industry specialists, Hitachi excavators offer customers the best combination of productivity and running costs.

During the current financial crisis, the demand for construction equipment, including Hitachi products, has fallen significantly. However, due to the fact that infrastructure and civil construction projects are a priority in Russia, the demand for high-quality construction machinery is expected to continue.
